Why would you want to be coached?

My Life Coaching is based on the idea that you don’t need “fixing”. We all have or can access the resources needed to get what we want from life. However, sometimes we can go through times when we need some help, or we get “stuck” in situations and can’t seem to find a way through. Then we might need a boost to help us find the difference that makes the difference. This is where coaching is at its most effective.

Life Coaching is for those times in your personal or professional life when you need some facilitation to get where you want to go. Please note that “Coaching” is different to “Therapy” or “Counselling.”

What happens in Life Coaching?

  • Coaching is an ongoing conversation between the coach and yourself that has the aim of helping you to set and achieve goals and targets in your life
  • The aim of the process is that you deepen your learning, improve your performance and enhance your quality of life

How does Life Coaching work?

The process is guided by three basic questions:

  • Where are you?
  • Where do you want to be?
  • How will you get there?

My responsibility is to help you to uncover the answers to these questions. I also help you to set goals and targets, encourage you to achieve them and maintain those achievements.

Your responsibility is to do the work needed to get the change you want to see. This means being committed to what you want and really going for it!

 How will Life Coaching affect me?

  • You will learn more about: how you operate; what motivates you; how you think and feel about certain situations; your system of beliefs and values; what your “trigger points” are; how you respond to different emotions and experiences.
  • You can use this learning from a specific situation and apply it to others.
